AMANI ON DEBUT U.S. TOUR
She is considered Kenya’s hottest female artist and is on her maiden U.S.tour. Amani has now performed in Houston, Minneapolis, Seattle and New Jersey. She still is scheduled to hit Washington, DC, on June 21st, Dallas, TX on June 27th, Kansas City, MO, on July3 and  Atlanta, GA on July 4th before she concludes her tour. Amani may do a repeat concert in New Jersey on June 28th because the stormy weather caused flight delays and she was only able to perform for 20 minutes. It is needless to say that her fans had just started to warm up when she left the stage.

AMANI BIOGRAPHY
Tamani, her debut CD is out and Amani is coming to America. With sizzling club hits such as Missing Ma Baibe, Papi and Bad Boy (with Nyashinski), Amani is undoubtedly one of Kenya’s top female artists. It was Ninanoki her runaway hit with Nameless from the Ogopa 1 CD back in 2002 that brought her to the limelight.
Amani has surely come a long way. While all the artists who featured on the Ogopa 1 CD with her went on to fame and sometimes fortune, Amani remained relatively unknown and for a while had no follow up hits. Interestingly, she was the only female featured on the CD. The other artists on the Ogopa 1 CD went on to become the who- is- who in Kenya’s urban music. They included Nameless, Redsan, Mr. Googz and Vinnie Banton, Kleptomanix, Deux Vultures and Longombas. But Amani did not give up.
It wasn’t until 2006 that Amani clinched the prestigious Kisima music Awards with a double-header as Kenya’s female artist of the year and collabo of the year with Nyashinski of Kleptomaniax for the song Bad Boy. Seven years of hard work and patience finally paid off for Amani. Tamani, her debut CD, comes with a string of hits and a command of the Kenyan air waves. The CD has opened up a myriad of opportunities for her. She has recently returned to Kenya from a trip to Germany. Last year saw her perform at the Kenyan reunion in Atlanta, Georgia. And, she was one of the main acts at the rugby sevens event in San Diego, California in February of this year. Her busy schedule in Kenya, performing at clubs, private functions and corporate events, makes Amani the busiest woman in Kenyan showbiz. Her riveting command of the stage coupled with a string of hits and dense air play on Kenyan radio makes Amani as hot as they come.
